Durin'S Day 2024 Tacoma. Durin's day was a yearly event noted by the dwarves, when the last moon of autumn and the sun are in the sky together (i.e., until sunset) on first day of the dwarves' new. I have seen various calendars suggesting different dates.

The durin’s day event marks the day thorin’s dwarven company entered erebor. The first day of the dwarves’ year was calculated according to the last new moon of autumn (that is, the new moon that occurs within two weeks of 6 october, on a modern calendar).
